Sage's New Quilt

Sage and Sierra were so excited to receive Sage's baby quilt. Each square was made by friends of mine and then Emily sewed it together. The girls love it! They were exploring on it today. Sage even clapped her hands in excitement to play on it. I will cherish it for its beauty and the memories it has.

William Mason Park

We had a relaxing time enjoying being in nature this morning at the William Mason Regional Park in Irvine. We saw several turtles, a pelican, ducks and a bunch of small remote controlled sailboats that were racing in the lakes.

Playing & Planting at Playschool

Last week we planted flowers, watered them, sang songs, did storytime, picked oranges from Lisa's tree and made homemade orange juice. Lisa led ring around the rosy and follow the leader with the kids, while Emily did the planting and gardening with them. It was so refreshing to see Emily in her element working in the garden. Toying with the Violin

Today at playschool the violin was a hit again. All the kids took their turn at playing it.

Wild Fun!

Another wildly fun time at playschool! It took a bit for the kids to warm up to each other, but then they were inseparable; that is until the boys started wrestling.

Sierra has now resorted to observing the wrestling match from afar. About now, she's probably missing her girlfriend Clare, the fourth member of the group.

Banner Crazy!

I've gone banner crazy! After coming home from lunch with my crafty creative friends, I was inspired to make some banners to make our house more colorful. I was sad at first thinking I can't do anything creative because I don't have a sewing machine. But, I do have a glue gun!!!

Singin' and Dancin' at Playschool

We had another memorable time at playschool. Emily played her violin, and all the kids played instruments as we sang and danced around. I love this group! I feel like these women have become like sisters to me, and it is so precious to watch the kids bonding, as well.
