Banner Crazy!

I've gone banner crazy! After coming home from lunch with my crafty creative friends, I was inspired to make some banners to make our house more colorful. I was sad at first thinking I can't do anything creative because I don't have a sewing machine. But, I do have a glue gun!!!

Singin' and Dancin' at Playschool

We had another memorable time at playschool. Emily played her violin, and all the kids played instruments as we sang and danced around. I love this group! I feel like these women have become like sisters to me, and it is so precious to watch the kids bonding, as well.

Laguna Day

We went to Laguna Beach the other day. It was quite chilly, but was gorgeous, as usual. The waves were pretty big. It is always nice down there this time of year.

Highlights from Christmas

The girls enjoyed Christmas; Sierra really was excited for it this year. We sang Christmas carols and gave Sierra a little guitar for Christmas. That inspired Bryan to pull out his piano and they tried playing together. Maybe one of these days, we'll have a musician in the family. That would be nice.

The girls especially liked their giant cardboard box house that we gave them as a gift. I loved their red dresses, especially Sagey's. She looked so precious in it. And here's Sagey trying to nurse the Christmas tree lights (hey, it's worth a try, right?).

Julie's 31st

We had a fun full day today for my 31st birthday. We did our usual Farmer's Market run and music together class. Then headed down to Balboa to walk around. We took the ferry across and walked on the pier. Even managed to see my long lost brother Tom who lives on the Peninsula. Then headed home to get a massage from a friend and spent the evening playing and connecting. A good birthday all in all!

Saturday Night Fun

Saturday night fun at our house often includes sharing with friends our highs and lows of the week in between wrestling matches, making burritos out of people, and playing hide and go seek.
